I offer recording and music production services for independent artists, songwriters, and musicians who want to bring their music to life without losing the human, creative side of the process.
My approach sits somewhere between producer, recording engineer, musical collaborator, and coach. Depending on what you need, I can help you capture songs that are already fully formed, develop songs that need more work, or support you through creating and releasing a project.
A studio built for intimate recording
My home studio is set up specifically for high-quality vocal and small-scale instrumental recording — ideal for solo artists, singer-songwriters, and duos rather than full bands.
I have a selection of high-quality microphones, outboard compressors, and recording equipment suited to capturing detailed, natural-sounding vocals and acoustic instruments. I record and produce in Logic Pro X, giving us a flexible setup for tracking, editing, arranging and mixing your music.
The studio is especially well suited to vocals, piano, guitar, and other single or duo instrumental setups, where we can focus on getting a great performance and a polished recording without the expense or complexity of a large commercial studio.
This is an intimate, creative space designed for making music — not a full-band tracking facility.
Pricing Structures
I price production services by project rather than by my regular lesson rate. This lets us focus on what your music actually needs rather than watching the clock.
I've outlined a few options below to give you a sense of the different types of production support I offer. But your project doesn't have to fit neatly into one of these packages.

A note about time
The hours below are estimates rather than strict limits. Some songs move quickly, while others need more rehearsal, editing, arrangement work, or experimentation. I'll give you a realistic estimate before we begin, and if your project starts to grow beyond the original scope, we'll talk about it together before adding additional costs.
Recording & Mix
You have the music. You just need a place to record it.
This is the straightforward, lower-cost option for artists who already know what they want to record and don't need much creative or production support.
You bring the songs, arrangements and accompaniment, and I'll take care of the technical side: getting clean recordings, basic editing, mixing and delivering your finished files.
This is a great option for demos, live-off-the-floor recordings, simple singer-songwriter recordings, or musicians who already have a clear production plan.

Estimated time
Approximately 2–3 hours per song, depending on the number of parts and how prepared you are.
Because this option keeps the creative and production decisions primarily in your hands, it's faster and less expensive than the more collaborative production option below.
Starting at $200 per song
For multiple songs, demos, or full albums, I can also quote a project rate.
Creative Song Production
Bring me the song — we'll develop the recording together.
This option is for artists who want more than a recording engineer. We'll work together to shape the song and figure out how it should sound.
Depending on the project, this might include arrangement ideas, instrumentation, vocal direction, production choices, editing, recording and mixing.
You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. Part of the process is discovering what the song needs.

The final price depends on the complexity of the project. If a song requires additional musicians, extensive arrangement, or significant development, I'll discuss that with you before we begin.
Artist Project Development
For artists who want support beyond individual songs.
This is for a more involved creative process—whether you're making a single, EP, or full album — and want someone involved throughout the project's development.
This can include:
Pre-production, writing support, and song development
Vocal & musical training and rehearsal time
Arrangement and production support
Recording and editing
On-site vocal coaching when needed
Mixing and revisions
Final WAV and MP3 files
Release preparation
Album or single artwork support
Distribution/upload support
Guidance on finding appropriate CD or vinyl pressing companies
Basic release planning
Estimated time
A typical song might take about 10–16 hours of production time, spread across pre-production, recording, editing, mixing, and revisions.
A larger EP or album is best planned as a whole project rather than simply multiplying an hourly rate. We'll discuss the number of songs, how developed they are, the amount of production involved, and your overall goals before establishing a project budget.
Starting at $650–$750 per song
Larger projects are quoted as a whole project.
Full Artist Support
From the first idea to the stage.
This is the most comprehensive option, combining music production, artist development, release preparation and live performance support.
It's designed for artists who want a creative partner who can help them move from recorded music into actually sharing that music with an audience.
Includes everything in Artist Project Development, plus:
Developing the live show
Preparing songs for performance
Developing a live set
Rehearsal support
Vocal and performance coaching
Deciding on instrumentation
Adapting recorded arrangements for live performance
Building your team
Helping identify and connect with musicians

Estimated time
Because this level can cover an entire release and live-performance cycle, the time commitment can vary considerably. A single release will be much quicker than an album release.
As a starting point, expect 10–30+ hours of creative and production support, with larger releases or projects involving live performance requiring additional time.
Starting at $1,500 (single)–$8,000 (album) per project
We'll create a custom scope and budget based on what you're actually trying to accomplish.
Live performance attendance, sound engineering, session musicians, mastering, professional graphic design, photography, pressing costs, distribution fees and other third-party expenses are quoted or paid separately where applicable.
