Most singing courses = show up, leave, forget.
Vocal Freedom Cohort = immersion, accountability, support, results.
Singing Shouldn’t Be This Hard
Most singers don’t need more talent.
They need less tension, better coordination, and a safe place to be messy while they learn.

You Love Singing But….
• your neck, jaw, or shoulders get tight
• high notes feel scary or strained
• you feel out of breath all the time
• you sound better in warmups than in songs
• you secretly think “maybe I’m just not a good singer”
You are not broken.
You are overworking.
… a 4-week, remote, small-group cohort for modern singers. This is not a lecture series. This is not a masterclass. This is not a private lesson. This is a guided, supportive reset for your voice.
We meet twice a week on Zoom and stay connected throughout the week in our private Skool community for practice posts, warm-ups, resources, and feedback. You practice simple daily exercises. You apply them to a real song. You get live coaching. You watch other singers learn. You learn to sing with ease.
This is a safe space to sing freely — to make mistakes, learn, experiment, and even laugh at yourself as you grow. You’re not doing this alone — you’re learning alongside other singers having breakthroughs just like you. Over four weeks, this creates real understanding, accountability, confidence, and true vocal freedom.
8 live Zoom sessions
Full resource library of warmups, scales, and exercises
A private Skool community for daily practice posts and feedback
Session replays and lesson materials
Direct coaching from Lizzy during sessions & throughout the week
Since the vocal cohort is 100% remote, to participate fully, you’ll need to download two free apps ahead of time. Both apps are free, easy to use, and work on phones, tablets, and computers. No tech stress. I promise.
This is where our live sessions happen twice a week.
Mondays at 6:30 — Lesson + Homework (90 min)
Wednesdays at 6:30 — Lab + Coaching (90 min)

Over four weeks, you’ll learn how to work with your voice instead of fighting it. You’ll discover how to breathe and release tension so singing stops feeling like effort, and how to create sound through resonance instead of pushing for volume. You’ll learn how to access range and high notes without strain, how to warm up in a way that actually supports your songs, and how to understand what your voice is doing so you can adjust it yourself.
You’ll apply simple exercises directly to real music you love to sing, practice in short and effective daily sessions, and learn how to listen to yourself without judgment so you can make useful changes. Most importantly, you’ll be doing all of this in a safe space where mistakes, laughter, and learning are welcome.
By the end of the cohort, you won’t just have a handful of tips — you’ll have a repeatable way of practicing, troubleshooting, and singing with more ease, confidence, and freedom on your own.
Heck yes.
You cannot sing freely in a braced body. Learn about your respiratory system, breath support, and how confidence can be breath’s best friend.
Stop pushing. Start resonating. Understand how sound works, why vocal tone is the way it is and improve the sound of your voice effortlessly and creatively.
Range is coordination, not talent. Understand the vocal registers and how being brave fuels soaring, effortless range.
Technique exists to serve expression. You don’t need to ‘find your voice'.’ It was never lost. Explore expression and uncover your creativity through voice work and the vocal instrument.
Meet Your Coach
Hi, I’m Lizzy Clarke.
I’ve been teaching singers since 2013, hold a degree in Applied Music & Jazz from Humber College, and have performed around the world as part of The Spandettes and other projects.
I specialize in helping modern singers understand how their voice actually works — so they can sing easily and joyfully.
This cohort is the exact method I use with my private students.
You’re not doing this alone. You’re doing it alongside other singers who are learning, practicing, getting stuck, and having breakthroughs just like you.
Over four weeks, this shared process creates something powerful:
Understanding.
Accountability.
Confidence.
And real vocal freedom.
That’s what makes it a cohort — we move through it together.
Do I have to be “good”?
No. You have to be willing.
What if I miss a session?
Replays are available.
Do I need equipment?
No. Just your voice and a phone to record yourself.
What is Skool?
Skool is our private online community and resource hub. It’s where you’ll find all warmups, exercises, replays, and where you’ll post your progress videos and receive feedback during the week.
What styles is this for?
Modern singing styles — pop, rock, jazz, R&B, folk, musical theatre.
Do I have to post videos of myself?
You’re encouraged to — that’s where the biggest growth happens — but you can participate at your comfort level. Many singers find that this becomes the most valuable part of the experience.
